After six years of providing pilot supplies and international flight planning services to the Petaluma airport community and to clients across the country, PetalumaPilotSupplies management has decided to liquidate the assets of the firm and close down operations. On January 20, 2016, PetalumaPilotSupplies.com will be publishing a close out product and price list for parties purchasing products at its offices. Products will be marked down significantly in order to liquidate assets quickly. Many items will be available at 60-70% discounts from retail. In addition, members of certain aviation related non-profit organizations who purchase products will generate donations to such organizations for each purchase. Items not sold by by February 14, will be listed on eBay for sale at discounts of 40-50% from retail. They will still be available for purchase at the airport, at the newer lower discounts. PetalumaPilotSupplies opened for business on August 8, 2009. Many thanks to all of the sponsors, presenters and participants at our opening event. PetalumaPilotSupplies has been an active sponsor of events at the Petaluma Municipal Airport including events produced by Airport Muse a firm dedicated to bringing fine art events to airports. These events include the exhibit of Casey White's Spray Paint Art, Feb 26-Mar 22, 2010, with an Opening Reception on February 26 that featured up and coming saxaphonist Marshall Farrell, a presentation by Art Hayssen about crossing the North Atlantic in a small single engine aircraft supplemented by a graphic display of the route by Stewart Munson's innovative Google Earth based aviation airspace and routing visualization system. A diverse audience of art enthusiasts, pilots, beer lovers and cheese connoisseurs attended the event.
