Aerial Archives library of aerial images contains over 80,000 aerial photographs of the San Francisco Bay Area, including historic the San Francisco Bay Area aerials, and over 500 additional categories of aerials the San Francisco Bay Area. Included in the archive is comprehensive vertical aerial photography of the San Francisco Bay Area beginning in the 1920s. The archive also contains an extensive collection of oblique aerial photographs of the San Francisco Bay Area, including bridges, commercial real estate, environmental subjects, wetlands, aerial photographs of salt ponds, geographic features, airports, ports, harbors and marinas, industrial plants including each of the major refineries, manufacturing plants and fabrication facilities, and the skylines of each of the major urban centers in the the San Francisco Bay Area Bay Area and numerous additional categories.
