Aerial Photographs of Mono County
Aerial Archives' aerial photographer Herb Lingl loves shooting the eastern Sierra and as a result the collection includes a diverse collection of aerial photography of this region. From the hot springs in Mammoth and Bridgeport, to the tufa at Mono Lake, to the reflections in Bridgeport lake and the meandering Owens river, this collection is very diverse. Included are aerial overviews and aerial abstracts of the Owens Valley and of one of the most rapid vertical gradients on earth (between the base of the valley and the ridge of the Sierra).
Supplementing this collection are vertical aerial photographs of the region, including georeferenced aerial views of certain sections of the Ownens valley. If you are not able locate the eastern Sierra aerial photograph you are looking for on this web site, please contact Aerial Archives directly for assistance with your aerial photography needs.
