Aerial Archives provides complete mounting and presentation services for aerial photography for its clients. Options include: --Mounting to numerous media including gatorbord, wood based backing materials, metal and sintra; --Lamination services; --Complete framing and matting services; One option that has been popular with our clients is to mount the print to a wooden composite material. The wooden mounting option includes a substrate that "floats" in front of a ¾" backing block-so that the art work is slightly removed from the wall-the edges are finished in black with a bevel. Final art is mounted to the wall using a wooden cleat system that joins the backing block on the back of the art. The cleat is attached to the wall with a number of screws-ideally anchored in the studs or similar secure base and the final art hangs directly on the cleat. The front of the print is covered with a UV protective laminate. To obtain customized service and a quotation for your project, please contact Aerial Archives.
